Atlas Foundry & Machine Company is one of the premier North American foundries for high integrity steel castings. Atlas produces cast parts in a size range from 100 to 35,000 pounds in over 100 different alloys of carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel and nickel base material. Founded in 1899 in Tacoma, Washington, the company now occupies 18 acres with over 500,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Primary markets include pump, valve, turbine, compressor, nuclear, Navy Shipbuilding and offshore drilling. Atlas' extensive facilities and technical expertise are designed to provide customers with cost effective solutions to casting projects. Concurrent engineering support is provided via Pro/Engineer® and MAGMASOFT® solidification modeling. Other capabilities include fabrication, machining, heat treating and nondestructive examination.
